Kedah has many interesting places and much tourism like Langkawi Island, paddy Museum at Alor Setar, Alor Setar Tower, Lata Ulu Sedim, and many more. But, the famous place in Kedah is Ulu Legong Hot Spring at Baling. Baling is a part of Kedah state. This place is location at south of Kedah and this place also attraction for those people who love to try hot spring therapy. I am a Baling’s people and I have been there a few times. It is interesting places and local people and tourist keep visit that places. This location is about 22km from Baling. For me, this place is suitable for everyone who wants their vocation in relaxing and harmony. It is because this place is far away from city and it’s has fresh air.






The main attraction tourist to this place is take bathe at hot spring pool. Actually have five hot spring pools at there. Two for woman, one for kids and other is for men. But there has one pool with high temperature and we can boil eggs in that water. It’ so fun because I’ve been tries to do it and the taste is delicious. For information, villagers say that the lichen from no one hot spring pool is good for skin and for beauty to woman. Also visitor come here because to get the therapy treatment for their sickness. So many local and outside people have tried it. Before that, we have been suggesting that to make sure our health is suitable for that temperature in different pool. Although, the right time to take bathe in pool is in mid night until early morning. It is because in that time the temperature is cold and it can deficient high temperature.

Another attraction is the reflexology stone also provided for visitor. Besides that, this place is nearby orang asli village and water fall. In that place also have one nature river. This river is suitable for children and especially for family who want picnic because it not to deep. The mini play ground also is provided. Any facility is small mosque for Muslim, toilet, food stall and souvenir. So, you all can buy souvenir for friend as remember this place! For those who love to camping, the facility for camping also provided or they can stay at chalet with the cheaper price. The chalet has two types like V.I.P chalet or usual chalet.









So come on and visit the famous hot spring in Kedah! With the highest sulphur between 30 C and 60 C in that pool make that place is most attraction for visitor. Here is guidance f or you before to get there, you must use PLUS highway north – south and take South Sungai Petani road. Follow the signboard to Baling town. The location is about 10km from Baling town.

For me, it is sweet memory when I been there. I also have been there for camping when I was schooling. It is new experience for those people who first time go that place. So enjoy and forgot all the problem when been here. Trust me; it is nice place that you never thought! It is good for your health. Bring your family, friend or tourist to feel itself the hot spring.
